Description: Description: Vol 1 Issue 2 virselisDear Prof. Vartanov,
With your interest in emerging economies, I thought you may be interested in
articles that are published the first volume (Issues 1 and 2) of a biannual research
journal Organizations and Markets in Emerging Economies (OMEE). In order to make the
articles accessible to the broader research community, we now offer free internet
access to the all full-text articles directly from our homepage (
<http://www.om.ef.vu.lt> www.om.ef.vu.lt). In addition to this, the articles can be
reached from several academic full-text databases via corresponding search engines.
We would also like to let you know that the call for papers to the second volume
(Issues 1 and 2) of Organizations and Markets in Emerging Economies is open. The
submissions that will be received before 1st of March, 2011, will be considered for
the upcoming issue, while others – for the later/subsequent issues. All articles
will be included into academic databases listed in the OMEE homepage (
<http://www.om.ef.vu.lt> www.om.ef.vu.lt)
Please, be reminded that that Organizations and Markets in Emerging Economies is
open for various types of articles:
- review articles that summarize and evaluate the current stock of theoretical
knowledge on a specific issue;
- conceptual/theory building articles that develop propositions and outline
directions for further research;
- empirical papers that study specific issues employing qualitative or
quantitative methodologies.
Topics of special interest include:
1. Organizational learning and change in emerging economies.
2. MNE’s in emerging economies.
3. Alliances, networks and clusters in emerging economies.
4. Corporate and functional strategies in emerging economies.
5. Market development and consumer behaviour in emerging economies.
The Volume 2 (Issues 1 and 2) in particular invites submissions that focus on (but
are not limited to) the above listed themes in the context of the economic downturn
and the ensueing recovery. We believe that studies on how organizations and markets
in emerging economies have responded to the dramatically deteriorating economic
conditions may provide new research insights, generate a number of relevant
managerial implications, and develop important policy recommendations. Last but not
least, we expect that such research efforts may raise new research questions and
identify new relevant phenomena, which have been overlooked or understudied to date.
For more information for authors, please visit homepage of the journal
www.om.ef.vu.lt <http://www.om.ef.vu.lt/> . Inquiries and papers should be sent by
e-mail to organizations.markets@ef.vu.lt.
We hope that you will find OMEE relevant and worthwhile outlet for your research and
may also want to contribute to the Journal in other ways.
